Cancellation Policy
In the event of a client needing to cancel services / treatments with MHR Belfast, please see the following cancellation policy.
Please note that the invoice issued for the deposit acts as the contract between the client and MHR Belfast.
Hair Transplant - To secure a date for the procedure, we ask for a deposit that is non-refundable and only transferable with adequate notice (one month before the procedure date). If a client changes their mind in the cooling off period, we will consider a refund 14 days after the invoice has been sent.
Hair Fusion - The purchase of hair fusion systems requires a large outlay. Therefore the deposit in respect of hair fusions will mean once a client has confirmed the order and asks us to proceed with the purchase, the deposit is no longer refundable or transferable.
Laser Hair Therapy - This treatment is an 8 month course and requires client commitment which is discussed at consultations. We ask for 50% deposit to allow the course of treatment to commence and to cover outlays associated with the service. After a 14 day cooling off period from the point of invoice/deposit paid, the deposit is no longer transferable or refundable. If a client cancels in the cooling off period, costs of outlays incurred to date such as products used, will be deducted from the deposit being returned.
Gift Vouchers - There is no time limit to gift vouchers and they are able to be used across all our services / treatments. Gift vouchers are non refundable from point of purchase. Gift vouchers can be sent by email or picked up from our office. The name of the person who will be using the gift voucher must be shared at the time of purchase. Gift vouchers can not be exchanged for cash, sold or transferred. The full value of the voucher does not have to be used at one time.
Late arrivals / No Shows for appointments
We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel your appointment, we simply ask that you notify us of any cancellations or rescheduling’s as soon as you can. We usually have a waiting list for our appointments especially popular after 5pm appointments. We just ask clients to be fair and respectful to our business and other clients.
Service Guarantee
Our clients satisfaction is our highest priority. If you are not completely contented, please let us know during your treatment or within 24 hours after your service has been performed.
Right to refuse service
MHR Belfast is committed to making sure our salons and workplace is a safe space for all. We have a 'zero tolerance' stance towards discrimination, abuse, harassment and violence.
Instances of verbal abuse, physical abuse, threats, harassment and violence are unacceptable, and will be reported and investigated.
Treatment Suitability
MHR Belfast is not obliged to treat you if they deem treatment is not appropriate for any reason. Some treatments require a patch test for those clients who have never had the treatment with ourselves. At an initial consultation, we will assess your suitability for treatment and discuss the potential results of this treatment. If for any reason we feel you are not suitable for treatment, we will explain the reasons for this.
Your data and medical history
At your initial consultation, we will ask you to list your medical history with all recent medications. We will share this with our surgeons for all hair transplant clients. All data you provide will be retained for 6 years and then securely disposed. Your data will not be shared with any other third parties, only for MHR Belfast use.
